Check out these step-by-step instructions for Marisa’s favorite do-anywhere fitness moves

Single-Leg Squat: Step 1

Works: Thighs, butt
Stand with your back 2 feet in front of your chair, hands on your hips. Rest the top of your left foot on the edge of the chair seat.

Single-Leg Squat: Step 2

Squat until your left knee is about 6 inches off the ground, then go back to start. Do 15 reps; switch legs and repeat.
Variation
Works: Thighs, butt, and shoulders
Holding a 3- to 5-pound dumbbell in your right hand, rest the top of your left foot on the chair seat. As you squat, raise the dumbbell to shoulder height; lower dumbbell as you return to start. Do 15 reps, then repeat using your right leg and left arm.

Front Leg Lifts: Step 1

Works: Abs

Lie flat on the floor, legs together, arms by your sides, palms down. If you have problems, place your hands under your butt for support. Lift legs straight up until they are perpendicular to the floor.

Front Leg Lifts: Step 2

Lower legs until they’re about 6 inches off the ground, and hold for 2 seconds. Repeat 35 times.

Variation

Works: Abs

Lower legs until they’re 6 inches off the floor, and then bend knees into chest. Extend legs straight out, lowering right leg back near the ground while kicking left leg toward the ceiling. Switch legs and repeat 25 times.

Resistance-Band Press: Step 1

Works: Biceps, shoulders

Standing with feet about 2 inches apart, step on one end of a resistance band with both feet. Grab the handle of the other end with your right hand, and let your arm rest by your side, palm facing out. Using your biceps muscle, lift the band up until your palm reaches your shoulder.

Resistance-Band Press: Step 2

Move arm out to the side (so it makes an L shape), and then press arm up toward ceiling. Do 15 reps; switch arms and repeat.

Variation

Works: Triceps

Start with your arm extended straight above your head. Bend your elbow until your fist is almost touching the back of your shoulder; push back up. Do 15 reps, then switch arms and repeat.

Resistance-Band Kicks: Step 1

Works: Outer and inner thighs

Standing with your hands on your hips, feet shoulder-width apart, tie a resistance band around both ankles. Kick your right leg out to the side 20 times.

Resistance-Band Kicks: Step 2

Kick your right leg to the left across your body then return to center. Do 20 times; switch legs and repeat.

Variation

Works: Butt

Standing with your feet shoulder-width apart, resistance band tied around your ankles, kick back and then return to start. Repeat 20 times.

Be sure to check out Marisa’s interview with Cosmo Magazine and get the 411 on

Tighten Your Abs, Butt, and Thighs

With her flowing blond waves and traffic-stopping curves, 30-year-old Marisa Miller is playing a huge role in bringing sexy back to modeling.

Watching her stroll into a New York City hotel bar looking goddesslike in jeans, a gray tee shirt, and a black scarf (and as she points out later, zero makeup), it’s easy to see why famed fashion photographer Mario Testino became mesmerized by her back in 2001, when he stopped by a California beach to take pictures of the then-little-known model, who was running a surf school with friends.

The encounter launched Marisa’s Sports Illustrated modeling career — she’s appeared in every swimsuit issue since meeting Testino, and in 2008, she landed the coveted cover. That same year, she was named Maxim’s Hottest Woman in the World, edging out fellow bombshells Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel. It’s no surprise that Victoria’s Secret also came calling — Marisa embodies the sex-kitten vibe they’re so famous for. As a VS Angel, she appears in their commercials and on their runway, and she was recently named the face of the company’s new workout line, VSX.

Meanwhile, her personal life also hit a high note: She married music producer and talent manager Griffin Guess, whom she met on an airplane in 2006. Actually, it was her mom who was first sitting near him during that fateful trip. But when Griffin got up to go to the bathroom, Marisa swapped seats with her (“I’ve always had this thing for mohawks,” she admits). The two hit it off, and Marisa says Griffin’s friends later told her he had been using a photo of her as his computer screen saver even before they met.

We don’t doubt it — Marisa’s incredible figure is admired by men and women alike. That’s why we decided to grill her about how she stays in such tip-top shape. The friendly Santa Cruz, California, native gave Cosmo her best fitness and eating tricks…and even agreed to model some of her no-gym-required exercises. Reading this interview will feel like being handed the keys to the look-hot vault.

Did you always dream of becoming a model?
No. I’d get approached by agents, and I’d do little jobs here and there, but I didn’t like the business. If you’re blond and have boobs, they want to put you on something like Baywatch, and I wanted nothing to do with that. But when Mario Testino came to take pictures of me, he was really focused on my face. I was 22, and he told me, “You know, this is going to change your life.”

Are those exotic Sports Illustrated shoots as glamorous as they seem?
There’s actually a lot that can go wrong. Last year, we were shooting in Turks and Caicos, and it started to rain while I was wearing a painted-on swimsuit that hadn’t been waterproofed. It literally started dripping right off my body…and I had to streak back to the hotel!

Lots of models these days have second careers. Do you have one in the works?I’m designing a line of swimwear because I’ve tried on so many over the years, and it’s a big part of my personal life. The line is simple, sexy, and all about accentuating what you have and covering up what you want to cover up.

Some models are exceedingly thin. Have you ever felt pressure to look like that? When I first started modeling, the whole androgynous look was in. I remember going to castings in Paris, and they wouldn’t see girls who had over a B-cup. For one shoot, they taped down my boobs with duct tape. I always wanted to represent the natural, healthy girl, and I didn’t care if it was cool or trendy to look like you hadn’t eaten in two weeks.

Do you diet?I don’t starve myself. Anyone who knows me will tell you I have an appetite. I’d much rather work out and not diet than not work out and have to diet. A lot of models don’t eat and smoke cigarettes all day because they don’t work out. I eat mostly organic, but I love macaroni and cheese, Mexican food, and egg-and-cheese croissants. So when I indulge, I eat protein and veggies for the rest of the day. It really is all about moderation and balance.

What’s your best stay-slim trick? For breakfast, I have steel-cut oatmeal with a couple tablespoons of maple syrup, a little milk, and sliced bananas. When I start out with something a bit heavier like that in the morning, I eat better for the rest of the day. People say you shouldn’t eat carbs, but that’s crap. I just try to stay away from white ones.

What are your favorite healthy snacks?I’ll have an apple with some wedges of Laughing Cow cheese, and I also like Flavor and Fiber bars. For dessert, I’ll melt some chocolate and drizzle it over bananas or strawberries.

Living with a guy can wreak havoc on your diet. Is your husband a bad influence?Griffin eats terribly, and I gained a lot of weight when we first met. I hadn’t had soda in about five years, and I came home one day to find this thing in the fridge that rolls soda cans out like a dispenser. I’m like, What are you doing to me?

How do you stay fit?My body is like a science project…. I’ve tried everything. I grew up surfing, and I love boxing and Spinning — my legs get so tight when I Spin. But I travel all the time and can’t make classes, so I have moves that I can do in my hotel room. I love resistance bands because you can toss one in your bag, and they work your muscles without bulking them up. When I have a big shoot or show coming up, I work with a trainer for an hour a day. I tell her, “I want to keep my curves but look toned. I want things to bounce but not jiggle!”

If regular sweat sessions aren’t scoring you the results you were hoping for, it’s probably because you’re guilty of these exercise no-nos. Tweak your habits and you’ll be torching more fat just in time for shorts and tank top season.

Busting your ass on the Stairmaster and banging out a gazillion crunches and squats isn’t going to do, well, squat, if you’re making these common mistakes, according to personal trainer and fitness expert Louis Coraggio. And what’s more, he says most women make at least one, if not more, of the seven errors listed below. Luckily, they’re easy to correct, and once you make the fixes, you can spend less time at the gym and shed more pounds.

Mistake #1: You don’t think about your tongue when you do sit-ups.

Yeah, we know it sounds strange, but hear us out. Women tend to use their neck muscles more than their abs when they do crunches. Totally uncomfortable, not to mention a huge waste of time. Shift the focus back to your abdominals with this trick: Press your tongue flush against the roof of your mouth before starting your reps. It helps keep the strain off of your neck so your stomach is forced to do the work.

Mistake #2: You stretch before cardio.

There’s no danger in sitting on a mat and trying to touch your toes, but it’s kinda boring and doesn’t do much for your bod. The best way to warm up your muscles and prevent injury before going on a run or jumping on the Elliptical is to mimic the exercise at a low level. So get on the machine you’re about to use, set it at the easiest level, and exercise for about five minutes. Then start to increase the level until you’re at the desired speed or difficulty. This is way better than stretching, since it gets your heart rate elevated and helps avoid burnout.

Mistake #3: You lift the same weights every time.

Many women are under the impression that using heavy weights equals bulking up, so they stick with 10 or 15-pounders and don’t increase. But if you’re using free weights or weight machines once or more a week, you should be slowly upping the poundage. Since your muscles build up resistance over time, aim to increase the weight by about five pounds every two or three weeks. As long as you can do 15 without feeling anything more than fatigue (as in, you’re not shaking, panting, or about to pass out), you don’t have to worry about ending up with arms that could star in an action flick.

Mistake #4: You do real push-ups.

Modified push-ups (where your knees are on the ground) have long been considered the lazy girl’s routine. The problem is that most women have a hard time doing the knees-off-the-ground version and when they try, their form ends up suffering, making the move sort of pointless. So go on, do the modified style and ignore the smug look from the girl next to you who has her knees up. (She’s probably doing them wrong anyway!) Plant your arms directly below your shoulders and keep everything from your knees to your neck in a straight line as you slowly lower yourself to the ground. Trust us, you’ll still get a kick-ass arm workout.

Mistake #5: You prep with a pre-gym snack.

Downing an energy bar before the gym can actually zap your energy. How come? Many of those bars are high in fiber, which is normally a good thing, but it takes forever to digest. And that digestion requires energy — energy that would be better spent on your muscles. You end up feeling sluggish and having trouble pushing yourself. If you’re ravenous beforehand, opt for a banana, which is digested super quickly and won’t inhibit your gym time. (Just steer clear of the apples many gyms offer at the front desk — they’re high in fiber too.)

Mistake #6: You overindulge afterwards.

Hey, there’s nothing wrong with replenishing yourself after a strenuous sweat session — in fact, it’s recommended you get some protein and carbs in your system within an hour of working out. What you don’t want is to totally undo all the hard work you just put in, which is extremely common. A recent study found that people tend to overestimate the number of calories burned and underestimate the number of calories consumed. To keep yourself from eating so much your workout becomes pointless, make sure you check the label of whatever you’re eating and aim for something in the 150 calories or under range. (In other words, not that mega-muffin at the gym cafe.)

Mistake #7: You don’t weigh yourself.

You might have been told not to worry about the number on the scale or heard that weighing yourself regularly is obsessive. But the scale is actually a key tool for ditching — and keeping off — fat. Experts have found that people who weigh themselves regularly lose more weight than those who don’t. It could be because we can actually see the pounds come off (motivation to keep exercising) and we also get a concrete reminder that eating unhealthily for a week straight has consequences.

Gretta’s Web Extra Tips – Good Morning America

– For on-the-go makeup that looks pretty and polished, models rely on a multitasking product like Stila Convertible Color. The small compact contains a cream that can be used on lips, cheeks and even eyes. Pick a neutral pink to stash in your handbag for touch-ups anytime, anywhere!

– For the tousled hair that models favor, comb wet hair into four sections, spritz with a lightweight styling spray (such as Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray) then twist until the hair coils against the head. Secure with an elastic and allow to air dry or blast with a blow dryer for a few minutes to speed up the process. Once the hair is mostly dry, uncoil and finger comb to create piece-y waves that look a little “undone” yet sexy.

– Always keep a scarf on hand. A colorful, lightweight and generously sized scarf will never let you down since it can be used as a wrap, a neck warmer, a sarong or even a tube top. There are tons of ways to tie a scarf so just one will allow you to create multiple looks. Check out this genius video for some unique ideas!

– To make bare legs look long and lean, first use a self tanner like St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse. Once the color has developed, it’s time to employ a little trickery! Apply a pearly or champagne body highlighter down the center of the thighs and shins to make them appear thinner. Scott Barnes’ Body Bling in Platinum is perfect for this. This highlighting trick can also be used on arms.

I do not know what goes on in Miss Lohan’s life on a day to day basis, but just when I thought that she MIGHT be cleaning up her act she goes and lies to police about a car crash with multiple witnesses, one including her assistant! What was she thinking? Seriously? Could this mean jailtime for the “Liz & Dick” actress? I guess only time will tell after she has her hearing with the juge.

Here is what Kathleen Perricone of OMG! Yahoonews reported on the incident on November 7, 2012

The truth will set you free, and in Lindsay Lohan’s case, not telling it could land you in the slammer. It was reported on Tuesday that the “Liz & Dick” actress will be charged with lying to police at the time of her June 8 car crash on the Pacific Coast Highway because she told them she was not the one driving – even though multiple witnesses, including her personal assistant, said she was.

While the charge is a misdemeanor, it could spell jail time for the 26-year-old since she is still on probation for the January 2009 necklace theft, even though her official probation ended earlier this year. It will be up to Judge Stephanie Sautner, who oversaw that case, to decide whether or not Lohan could wind up back in jail. As of press time, the L.A. City Attorney’s Office was aware of the new charge against Lohan, but had yet to make a decision about charging her with a probation violation.

TMZ also reports that police found prescription pills in Lohan’s purse and strewn all over the trunk of her car when she slammed her rented Porsche into the back of an 18-wheeler on the PCH. But she avoided being charged with any drug crimes because they were all properly prescribed to her. At the time, it was also reported that a water bottle filled with alcohol was in Lohan’s trunk as well.

What are your thoughts?

Share your thoughts in the comments below? Do you think she will get jail time? Does she deserve jail time? Do you think Lindsay Lohan has changed at all in the past five years? Will you see the new lifetime movie Liz & Dick, starring Lindsay Lohan?

- Rebranding is to be revealed November 17th

Reading Phillies fans are not happy about this decision. Being born and raised in Reading, Pennsylvania and going to many Reading Phillies games I am not happy about this decision either. I used to work right across the straight from the stadium and I loved going to as many games as I possible could. Baseball is my favorite sport to watch… what can I say “I love baseball boys”

I am wondering what this means for advertisers at the stadium, how do they feel about the name change? Why didn’t the Reading Phillies poll fans and ask US what we thought about a “re-brand”. The Reading Phillies have a HUGE fan base and it’s a summer must in Berks County. I am not sure how ticket holders are going to react in the upcoming season.

Check out what Mark Drago from the Reading Eagle has to say about the Reading Phillies Name Change:

Judging from the harsh and immediate reaction to their impending name change it appears the Reading Phillies have struck out.

Local fans were irate when word spread Sunday afternoon that the club was abandoning the name it has used for 46 years – one many Reading baseball fans have grown up with and continue to cherish.

Terrible idea.

Awful, awful, awful.

Disheartening.

Insulting.

Boo.

Those were some of the common sentiments expressed on social media, both on the Reading Eagle’s comment pages and Twitter and on the Reading Phillies’ own fan Facebook page.

One fan, who identified himself on Facebook as Mark Angelisanti of Bernville, threatened to burn his Darin Ruf autograph along with his R-Phils jersey, a la angry Cleveland Cavaliers fans in the wake of LeBron James’ exit to Miami.

This decision was met with similar fury.

“This is one of the worst ideas I have ever heard of,” read one post from a Facebook user who identified himself as Keith Yoder of Hamburg.

“This is the dumbest thing I ever heard in my life,” posted a Facebook user identified as Tony Colamarino of Reading. “I will never go to another game again if that new brand doesn’t have the Reading name in it.”

“What a mistake,” wrote Facebook user Tim Kutz. “You are throwing out 45 years of branding.”

The club announced Sunday, during a gathering at FirstEnergy Stadium, and later on its website and via emails to fans, that its impending re-branding effort will include a new team name.

Reading has been home to the Phillies’ Class AA minor league team since 1967; many local residents identify themselves with the club and with the parent Phillies, who play in Philadelphia.

Some fans expressed concern that their link to Phillies history – players such as Mike Schmidt, Greg Luzinski and Ryan Howard were stars in Reading before reaching Philadelphia – will be gone with a name change.

“No matter how bad things in Reading get, our shining star and point of pride has been the Reading Phillies,” Karen Yohn Fox, an Exeter grad, posted on Facebook. “Its traditions, its name recognition and its value are known far beyond our county borders.”

“The city of Reading has lost everything it stood for over the years,” posted a Facebook user who identified himself as Justin Brossman of Reading. “It used to be a booming town and it’s gone to hell over the years. The one thing about the city that made it through the tough times and screams Reading is the Reading Phillies. Now you want to take that away from us, too.”

One local fan called the Reading Eagle Monday morning sobbing about the stunning decision; he recounted attending the Reading Phillies’ first season opener, in 1967, with his father, a treasured memory.

Reading Phillies general manager Scott Hunsicker, who announced the name change Sunday at the stadium and discussed the strategy behind it in a story in Monday’s Reading Eagle, took the fierce backlash in stride. He said he expected it, though not quite at such a high volume.

“We feel very, very comfortable with where we’re going to end up,” he said. “Honestly, the people who are upset, I believe, are really going to like everything once they see the whole thing laid out.”

Hunsicker said the club will announce the new name and unveil its many new uniforms Nov. 17 during a ceremony at the stadium.

“Right now it’s more just the fear of the unknown that’s creating the issue,” Hunsicker said of the intense, almost-completely negative reaction. “Certainly a lot of people have jumped all over it, which is a good thing. It just shows how passionate our fans are.”

Hunsicker understands how much local fans care about the club and its association with the Philadelphia Phillies. He insists that connection will not be lost and that the club values its history and its connection with Philadelphia just as much as fans do.

Hunsicker personally took the brunt of the public relations hit. He was skewered by many who responded via social media. One person even posted Hunsicker’s home phone number on several sites.

“Is this guy insane?” wrote a Facebook user who identified herself as Christa Ettele Remp of Exeter. “We have been and always always will be the Reading Phillies. How dare this over-inflated, egotistical change our name.”

It wasn’t only fans who were upset. Dave “Frenchy” Bauman, the longtime public address announcer at the stadium, expressed his displeasure on the club’s Facebook site.

“I’ve proudly been associated with the Reading Phillies since 1978,” Bauman wrote, “and I humbly submit that if the Reading Phillies name dies a part of me will go to the grave with it.”

Just hours after the announcement became official an online petition was started and a fan created a Facebook page: “Save the Reading Phillies.” By Monday evening more than 2,000 people had joined the group, and 500 had signed the petition.

Despite the intense reaction Hunsicker said the club remains steadfast in its decision and plans to go forward with its plans.

Local fans on social media left little doubt where they stand on the issue. There were almost no positive comments posted.

“Looks like they just want to have their own identity,” posted Facebook user Jason Everett of Reading. “I’m all for it; I hate the Phillies.”

“Didn’t know when I went to Trenton for Game 4 (of the Eastern Division playoffs) that it would be the last R-Phils game,” tweeted John Hagee Jr.

“In the history of bad decisions,” wrote a Facebook user who identified himself as Andrew Price, “this is going to go down as one of the worse decisions.”

Orlando, FL – Disney World

I just got back from an amazing week in Orlando, FL. I travel a lot and spend time in different hotels and resorts and I have to say that the Wyndham Resort at Bonnet Creek was by far the best place I have stayed in and if weren’t for vacation secret, I would have never found this gem in downtown Disney. Immediately upon arriving I was greeted by the front desk with a friendly smile and a “welcome home”. That put a smile on my face. Once I was checked in, I headed up to the 15 floor to see my room. If you are like and me travel a lot, you have probably seen some incredible places and some not so incredible places. There is always anticipation of “what is the room going to look like?”. I was beyond thrilled with my suite. I was in a 2 bedroom suite that was fully equipped with a kitchen, dinning area, living area, 2 bathrooms and full size washer and dryer! I was impressed. The suite had all the comforts of home. It was nothing like I expected. It exceeded my expectations, who doesn’t want to have that experience? I like to cook my own meals rather than go out to eat so having a kitchen was awesome!

Once settled in, I decided to check out the rest of the resort. Wyndham at Bonnet Creek was equipped with multiple pools and spas. There was gym (for all those fitness buff’s that like to work out while on vacation). The pool area offered cabana’s. To rent a cabana for a day would cost you $25.00! Yep that’s right – just $25.00. I couldn’t believe it. What an amazing deal. There was also a lazy river (which when I decided to take a break from relaxing by the pool), I hopped in a tube and floated through the lazy river. This resort is very kid and family friendly, as it is in the downtown Disney area. The pool areas were equipped with slides for the kids, keeping them entertained while their parents relaxed by the pool. Be sure to check out the photo gallery below!

On Sunday I went to “Magic Kingdom” and it was very convenient that there was a shuttle right outside my tower. The shuttle stops at two places at the Wyndham Resort and that is at tower 1 and tower 6. The shuttles run every 30 minutes, which is nice. I thought that it was going to be crowded at Magic Kingdom on a Sunday, but I was wrong. I barely had to wait in any lines and I got to act like I was 12 again. We all are a little young at heart! I had went on the majority of rides that I wanted to in Magic Kingdom and it was only 2 o’clock in the afternoon, so I decided to check out “Hollywood Studios”. I upgraded my ticket to the ‘park hopper’ for only $37.00 more. This allowed me to visit multiple Disney Parks on the same day. Hollywood Studios was so much fun! I rode the tower of terror and my favorite ride, the rocking roller coaster. There was about a 75 minute wait at the rocking roller coaster and I really wanted to go on that ride, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to actually wait that long. The guy manning the line snuck a ‘fast pass’ to me and I only had to wait 10 minutes to ride the roller coaster! YAY I was happy. I couldn’t have asked for a better day at Disney and I was extremely pleased with the people working at Disney and that just added to my experience in Orlando.

Thank you Vacation Secret for going above and beyond and providing me with a wonderful stay at the Wyndham Resorts at Bonnet Creek. It exceeded my expectations and provided me with a lifetime of memories.

Three ways to go to bed with damp hair and wake up looking….

fabulous! Yes, I said fabulous. Thanks to yahoo I found this awesome article on going to bed with damp hair and actually waking up and being able to work with it. I don’t know about you, but I tend to go to bed with a damp head (by the time I get out of the shower, I really “just don’t feel like” blow drying my hair). So I typically tosh it up in a clip or put a braid in my hair, so that it will be some what manageable in the morning. Be sure to read the rest of the post to find out how you can ‘wake up to gorgeous hair‘, add more volume, wake up to waves, and have less fizz!

Leaving wet hair loose overnight means you might find a surprise (e.g., cowlicks that can’t be controlled, layers that won’t lie flat) in the morning. Blot hair with a towel to absorb as much water as possible, says Gibson, then try one of these quick styles to eliminate bedhead…

Wake Up to More Volume

Fine hair has a tendency to fall flat. These four fast steps will add body overnight:

1. Spritz all over with a volumizing spray (like Aveda Volumizing Tonic, $16), which swells the hair shaft as it dries and makes hair look thicker.

2. Pull it all into a high pony at your crown and twist the tail-winding it onto itself to create a loose bun. Why loose? Because a too-tight chignon not only prevents hair from drying all the way through but also could lead to breakage (especially if your hair is relaxed).

3. With a few long bobbies, pin the bun in place.

4. In the morning, let your hair down and finger comb (using a brush creates frizz).

Wake Up to Waves

Try Gibson’s technique for shoulder-length hair and skip the curling iron in the morning.

1. Apply a light mousse from roots to ends to help hair hold its shape as it dries.

2. From hairline to nape, divide your hair down the middle with a comb, separating it into two equal sections.

3. Braid each side from the middle down. Starting any higher will create crimps near your roots.

4. Secure the end of each braid with a metal-free elastic.

5. Pull out the elastics or pins in the morning and unwind your hair. For a beachy effect, mist a salt spray (like Fekkai Coiff Océanique Tousled Wave Spray, $25) all over your hair and scrunch with your hands.

Wake Up to Less Frizz

Giving your hair a break from heat can actually be beneficial-especially for those with natural waves. “The less you do to curls the better,” says Gibson.

1. Apply a light leave-in conditioner (try Ted Gibson Tame It Shine Lotion, $20) and use a wide-tooth comb to distribute it to your ends. A brush or a fine-tooth comb can destroy your curl pattern and create kinks.

2. Part your hair down the middle. Divide each side into three smaller sections.

3. Starting at the bottom of one of the smaller sections, create a pin curl by wrapping the ends up and over two fingers as you would a foam roller and continue winding up toward your roots. (This prevents curls from tangling or catching on your pillow at night.)

4. Slip your fingers out and secure the pin curl to your scalp using a clip. (Try these no-crease versions from Ricky’s, $6.) Then repeat steps three and four on the other five sections.

5. Remove the clips in the a.m. and lightly spritz your hair with water to soften curls and eliminate static.

Have you tried any of these methods?

What were your results? I’d love for you to share with me, how you manage your damp hair! I am going to try the ‘wake up to waves’. My hair is naturally curly, however it is really long, so it looses it’s ‘natural’ curl because my hair is so weighed down. Hopefully with those tips I can wake up to pretty waves or at least manageable waves.
