Converted Heel to Flat!

What woman would not want to have a flat and a heel all in one.  Well the designers at Nael Coce have found a way to make that possible.  Be sure to check out their Page on Facebook. I love the way I look and feel in heels but after a night out on the town – the thing I hate most is walking to my car.  I live in a city so I park in a parking garage and than walk a few blocks to various restaurants and bars.  When 2 am comes around I am not ready nor willing to walk back to my car in my heels (but I do it anyway because I know that I have to).  I love these Nael Coce converted heels.  They really are every woman’s dream shoe.  Below this article is how to wear these awesome shoes!

Thank you MNN for finding Every Woman’s Dream Shoe!!!

It doesn’t happen that often in life that you get something you’ve always dreamed of. One I have to admit I wasn’t expecting to see was a convertible shoe that you could wear as a flat or as a high heel, depending on what you needed at the time. Many women carry flip-flops or foldable ballet slippers in their bags and switch them out with heels when they arrive at work or an event, but this is a shoe that is both at the same time.

How does it work? Well, the flat actually fits inside the heel. To wear the flat, you simply slip your foot (with flat) out of the shell of the heel, and toss the heels in your bag. Putting on the high heels again is as simple as slipping the flats back into the heels. Nael Coce, the company behind the shoe(s), bills them as “comfort and style united,” and you just really can’t argue with that.

According to the company’s site, “Nael Coce’s initial product, Ambi Platform, is a convertible high-heel-to-flat shoe that allows an individual to wear a high heel shoe with a built-in flat shoe that can be removed and worn alone for comfort. It combines trendy, supportive, and antibacterial features.”

Currently the company, which just introduced its first two shoes in February, offers a black heel with a green sole, and a sparkly gold heel. The shoes are available on the site for a pretty reasonable (considering you are getting two pairs of shoes) $70 and $75 respectively.

Made from eco-friendly, antibacterial materials (they do not say exactly what those materials are), whatever the components, they are apparently low-waste and better for the air than traditional shoe materials. That’s a win-win-win in my book.

How To Wear the Shoes:

Wear the flat shoe inside of the high heel shoe:
Remove the insole from the high heel shoe and insert the flat shoe into the high heel shoe.
Make sure the flat shoe fits securely into the high heel shoe, ensuring that the flat shoe does not show above the high heel shoe.

Wear the flat shoe alone:
Hold the high heel shoe and pull the flat shoe out of the high heel shoe.

Wear the high heel shoe alone:
Hold the high heel shoe and pull the flat shoe out of the high heel shoe.
Insert the insole securely into the high heel shoe.
Removing the insole from the shoe and sitting it in indirect sunlight for a few hours can regenerate the shoe insole.

 Green Bottom Pumps:

Just when I thought that Red Bottom Pumps were all the rage (and believe me they still are). The Green Bottom Converted Heel to Flat is just as much as a MUST have as those Red Bottom Pumps!

I love the concept of the heel and I can not wait to get my hands on a pair.  And for $70 who wouldn’t want to have the dream shoe.  They are great for commuters into cities and great for night life.  They are just as stylish as any heel that I have seen and the shoes are also eco friendly.  Even more reason to love them.

Be sure to pass along these dream shoes to your friends and don’t forget to comment below!
